Spellcasting. Kasimir is a 10th-level spellcaster, his spellcasting ability is intelligence (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks. Kasimir has the following wizard spells prepared:

1st level (4 slots): detect magic, identify, mage armor*, magic missile
2nd level (3 slots): detect thoughts, mirror image, misty step

Bio:

Kasimir’s sister Patrina was chosen as a bride of Strahd. As punishment the Dusk Elves stoned her to death. Incised at being denied her as a bride Strahd murdered all the female Dusk Elves dooming the race to oblivion.

The spirit of Kasimir’s sister calls out to him from beneath Castle Ravenolft through dark and troubling dreams. She tells him that something in the Amber Temple to the West of Mt. Ghakis will aid him in overthrowing Strahd.

Kasimir has been scouting the temple but fears it is guarded by ancient and terrible magic, making it almost as dangerous as the Devil Strahd’s Castle itself.
